Play

As children we used to fill our days with play.

Through this play, we learned about the world around us.

We learned how to interact with other people.

But as we get older, our desire to play becomes less.

We learn in other, more formal ways, from books and school.

Does this mean that we should no longer play?

No, it doesn't. As adults we can still enjoy play, can still learn from it.

We just have a different way of playing.

But we are still playing.

To play is not frivolous or a waste of time, as we are still learning, both about ourselves and the world.

So don't be afraid to play, to have fun.

Play, learn, enjoy.
